Whether you are celebrating your special day with a crowd of guests at a wedding or an intimate elopement setting, I hope to be there documenting your unique love story.

Everyone has their own beginnings to the way they met, fell in love, and celebrate their marriage. This blog shares the beautiful intimate multi-day elopement of Colleen and Parker. They are an awesome couple that add beauty and grace to this world. I am honored to have been with them for a couple of days to film their special multi-day elopement. It is set in magnificent Michigan in three specific locations – Mackinac City, Headlands International Dark Sky Park, and Cheboygan.

About The Couple:

‘Love you to the Moon and to Saturn’. This was the theme for Colleen and Parkers most intimate and romantic elopement. Their vow books contained cherished words to each other and if you click on the video link you will hear their beautiful story.

Colleen shone radiantly in a Samantha Stokes luxurious gold moon and star lace bridal dress, with criss-cross back, and flowy detachable skirt. As golden hour approached Colleen wore a denim jacket with the romantic words, ‘Love you to the Moon and to Saturn’. Boots were unique and meaningful purchased from the talented Lines and Colors Design. Her half up, half down braided and plaited bridal style looked gorgeous thanks to Wild Bees Beauty. Also, the hair and jewelry accessories were out of this world!

Parker looked chic in a long white sleeve shirt with black bowtie and burnt orange pants with dark tan suspenders. Parker declared to Colleen these true love words, “It’s no longer about me anymore. It’s about you and I. About we. About our eternity”. What a husband and what a wife, and what an epic future!

Mackinac City, Northern MI

Mackinac is a go to city for travellers visiting the state of Michigan. It is located where Lake Huron and Lake Michigan meet. Known for its great lakes, lush landscape, Mackinac Bridge, adventurous base, thriving downtown café/restaurant district and plenty of shops to explore. There are plenty of hidden treasures to be found in this city and loads of wonderful accommodation and elopement venues and vendors. Plan an elaborate or simple elopement and know that this destination can cater for both.

Headlands Dark Sky Park, MI

Northern Michigan is a true wilderness landscape where the woodlands kiss the rocky shoreline of Lake Michigan and the Mackinac Straits. Headlands Dark Sky Park in Emmet County Michigan encompasses a staggering 550- acres of natural beauty. Twice a year in March and September the Aurora Borealis can be seen at night during the Equinox. What a romantic multi-day elopement destination. An atmosphere so pristine, you can see the night sky in all its glorious brilliance.

Cheboygan, MI

Cheboygan city in Michigan is a quaint historical river town with gorgeous beaches, lovely cafes and plenty of water sports and hiking trails nearby. The picturesque Cheboygan River flows straight from Mullet Lake through the town to Lake Huron. This is where Colleen and Parker chose for their intimate and romantic multi-day elopement Airbnb venue.
