Filled with hilarious laughter, delicious foods, and plenty of tear-jerk moments, Taylor & Ryan’s moody and romantic outdoor wedding was an experience I’ll never forget. My absolute favorite couples to work with are those who are totally comfortable with themselves and allow me to simply drop myself into their story and document their love as their wedding day unfolds. Taylor & Ryan provided me all the freedom in the world to do exactly that and their willingness to allow me in gave me the ability to showcase their love in a beautifully authentic manner – from the laughter to the tears, and everything in between.
But beyond any swooning at the amazing moments we were able to share together, it has truly been the biggest privilege to simply get to know these two awesome people and share in their journey together. From the whimsical and candid moments of their engagement session in downtown Grand Rapids to the laughter-fueled dances of their reception, Taylor & Ryan’s story has been one of spontaneous fun, authentic laughter, and a beautiful unfolding love, expressed through every meaningful glance at each other.
I often spend time in these blogs swooning over decorations, wardrobe choices, or the amazing location we were at – but in this case I don’t want to do any of that. Instead I want to allow the moments we captured together tell that story.
