Beaches and weddings undeniably go hand in hand. Kristina and Jordan’s summer wedding at Grand Haven Beach, West Michigan was no exception.

Kristina and Jordan centred their wedding day around their faith in God and their deep love for one another. It was a privilege to capture the very essence of this in their wedding film. There were so many spectacular views at this Grand Haven beach wedding. From the white sand and blue waters to the grassy dunes and glorious sunset, a landscape of sheer beauty. The whole day had a relaxed summer vibe and it was filled with love, laughter and plenty of dancing. Everything was perfect, from the weather to the waves at the ceremony and it flowed on into the fabulous reception.

Wedding Venue: Grand Haven Beach

The Grand Haven City Beach is located along the shores of Lake Michigan. It is known as the Coast Guard City, USA. Towering dunes and wide-open spaces will beckon you down for a day at the beach. Amazing views of the pier and lighthouses will also greet you when you venture here. The Grand Haven area caters for all seasons, making it perfect for weddings.

There is biking and hiking in spring, beaches in summer and charter fishing in fall when the salmon run. Winter offers snow sports including sled racing, downhill skiing and snowboarding to name a few. Shopping and fine dining are always on the to-do-list.

All weddings at Grand Haven Beach must be held south of Notos at the Bill Mar. To book you just need to simply fill out a permit on the www.grandhaven.org website.

The Notos at the Bill Mar is a local family-owned business and has been in Grand Haven, Michigan since 2019. The upstairs La Grande Vista has striking views of the beach and can seat up to 250 people. Dance the night away on the beautiful granite dance floor or experience a glorious Lake Michigan sunset on the balcony. It also features an upbeat bar and large screen televisions are available for your use.

Ceremony & Reception Details

Guests were invited to throw off their shoes as they attended the ceremony on the beach. What a picturesque wedding it was with sailing boats in the distance. Sand and surf were peeking through the beautiful, big wooden arbour decorated with white florals. The groom and groomsmen made their way down onto the beach where they awaited the bride and bridesmaids. As a testament to their faith, Kristina and Jordan had communion during the ceremony.

Guests and the bridal party then attended the fabulous wedding reception at Notos at the Bill Mar. Kristina and Jordan even managed to have a wander along the beach and watch the sunset. Another magical moment was when the bride, groom and guests released Chinese sky lanterns flickering into the night sky. Kristina and Jordan were then farewelled by their guests through a tunnel of sparklers.

Bride & Groom Details

Kristina wore a stunning A-line silhouette fit and flare wedding dress with a floral lace illusion neckline. Her hair was in an intricate up style, with delicate diamantes. Her accessories included gorgeous silver and diamond teardrop earrings and a matching necklace. Kristina’s bridesmaids wore beautiful flowing sage green floor length gowns.

Jordan wore a light blue suit, white shirt, floral tie and tan, leather shoes. The groomsmen wore old tan braces, light blue bow ties, dress pants and white shirts.
