Welcome to a beautiful intimate wedding of Aeshalani and Michael, at the Ironlight Venue in Lake Oswego, Portland. As a photographer/videographer my heart’s desire is to help bridal couples to be comfortable, relaxed and enjoy their celebration. The best wedding portraits are captured when the focus is not on the photographer’s checklist but on embracing the unfolding events of the day. Celebrating with each other, family and friends in a fabulous wedding venue and location always provides a quality photoshoot.

How true is it, that every destination has its own unique natural beauty, and charming character! Portland sits on the north-western border of Oregon and is the state’s largest city. Portland is located in one of the U.S. best regions, the Pacific Northwest, where magnificent landscapes include big name destinations. Oregon Coast, Columbia River Gorge, Willamette Valley, and Mount Hood. The areas surrounding Portland offer endless adventures and stunning landscapes. It is also one of my favorite locations to hang out and to photograph/film weddings.

Imagine how excited I was to discover that just 15 minutes’ drive south from downtown Portland is nestled the gorgeous Lake Oswego. This charming lake suburb city feels like it is a world away. Lovely shops and homes with nearby rural farmlands, rivers and lake make this a tranquil location to visit and live. Restaurants, cafes, and venues offer fantastic local produce and it’s a friendly community. Aeshalani and Michael chose a great place to for an intimate wedding and their day was filled with love and laughter.

About the Couple

Their intimate wedding took place in fall, and it is Michael’s favorite season, it’s the season they fell in love. Aeshalani and Michael met one night at an adult group at their church. Michael was new to church and kept putting off the invite to attend the group. Then one night he went and met Aeshalani. They started to hang out together and become good friends.

There was this special moment when Michael was playing the piano and Aeshalani put her head on his shoulder. It was in that very moment that what they had both been feeling made its way to the surface and their love story was sealed. No one was ever going to be able to stop this love from blooming. Their love of music and their adorable baby boy will continue the melody of their blessed lives together forever.

Aeshalani looked beautiful in an exquisite, romantic, illusion long sleeve, floral lace fit and flare wedding dress. A bridal bun with veil, pearl earrings and a lovely floral bouquet. Jonathan looked fantastic in a 2-piece black suit and black business shirt.

Ironlight Wedding venue have made it very easy to gain all the information you need, to decide if this wedding venue option is for you. Directly phone, email or fill in an online request through their website. Carey, Sonal, and Taryn founded Ironlight in 2016 and are devoted to giving bridal couples, “The perfect venue for an elevated experience”.

Top Features of IRONLIGHT

Without a doubt the stunning natural surrounds from inside and outside Ironlight are the ultimate top feature. In true Pacific Northwest panorama, the owners have thoughtfuly flowed the outdoors indoors, with a wood and glass theme design. Natural light from floor to ceiling windows and accordion doors are picturesque for guests and a fantastic help for photographers. Chandeliers, luxury carpets, soft fabric curtains, dark wood furniture and incredible ambience.

Ironlight is 4,000 sq ft of modern, sophisticated architecture with a touch of classic rustic charm and can seat 175 guests. The Hood Terrace has spectacular views and can comfortably seat 100 guests. The Sunset Deck is 1,000 sq ft and seats 36 guests or 100 standing and the sunsets are gorgeous from this outdoor space. The Executive suite seats 25 guests and the Lobby can hold 75 standing for cocktails etc.
