Welcome to the Ivy House summer wedding in the picturesque town of Saugatuck, Michigan. It never surprises me that each wedding is unique and brilliant in its own special way. Always remember, that every bridal couple’s personality shines through in the unique ambience that their wedding day provides. Thankfully, excellent and thoughtful planning and organising goes into every detail of a celebration.

As a travelling photographer, I’m passionate about recording the authenticity of the love story. Bridal attire, destination, wedding venue, florals, personal touches, etc… they are all important and relevant. Enjoy viewing the raw, authentic and very beautiful love story of Karina and Logan.

Do you love a feel good video story? Karina and Logan’s wedding film is right up there with the best of them. They had separately embarked on a vacation get-a-way aboard a boat. What started out as a look in the right direction, turned into a beautiful forever relationship. Logan’s three children, Blane, Casey and Hailey had tragically experienced the very sad loss of their mother. Logan and his family did not know that a beautiful life with Karina was just around the corner.

What a privilege to share this happy day of Karina and Logan as they made their forever vows official. Enjoy viewing this beautiful love story.

Ivy House, Saugatuck, Michigan is such an elegant and picturesque wedding venue. Located on 7 spacious acres inclusive of a reception space, a greenhouse for ceremonies and a large outdoor cocktail area. Ivy House offers two suites for those ‘getting ready’ photos and film moments of your special wedding day.

Saugatuck, Michigan is a city in the Allegan County on the edge of Kalamazoo Lake. Recently [August 2021] voted one of the 26 Most Beautiful Towns in America. Not far from Lake Michigan, Saugatuck is a very popular getaway destination. Tourists frequently visit the beautiful beaches, scenic waterways, creative arts scene, culinary delights and dinner cruises on the lake.

Bride & Groom Details:

Karina wore a stunning off-the-shoulder neckline wedding dress. Covered in exquisite beading with tiny crystals and pearls. Her beautiful long soft cascading curls gracefully framed her face. Pearls weaved into Karina’s hair which complimented the long veil tucked in at the back. She accessorised with lovely matching pearl, high heal open toe wedding shoes and a large bouquet of fresh, seasonal flowers. Her bridesmaids wore lovely dusty pink floor length dresses with sweet pale pink and white rose bouquets.

Logan wore a beige formal suite with white shirt, tie and tan leather shoes. His groomsmen wore matching suites with rusty rose ties.

Ceremony and Reception:

The ceremony started with the bridal party walking down the aisle of the beautiful glasshouse with its dreamy white drapes. The bride and groom said their vows underneath the half circle arbor overflowing with beautiful, fresh white flowers. As the wedding film rolls, Karina and Logan say their personal and romantic wedding vows.

Promising to love and adore each other and Logan’s children, Karina pays her respect to the children’s beautiful mother. Vowing to love their dad with all her heart and to love and protect them in any way she can. Having met him at his lowest, Logan expresses how Karina has been such an amazing inspiration to him.

At the wedding reception, the bride and groom had fun dancing with their friends and family. Wooden hearts were available to write special messages to Karina and Logan. And the delicious donut wedding cake was a guest pleaser!
